1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Emora ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Emora. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older. We reserve the right to verify your age and to terminate accounts that violate this requirement.
3. Account Responsibility
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You must not share your account with others
- You must provide accurate information during registration
- You are responsible for all activity under your account
4. The Service
Emora provides an AI companion experience including:
- AI-powered chat with a customizable avatar
- AI-generated images and media
- Engagement features (streaks, XP, levels)
- Premium subscription tiers with additional features
The AI avatar is a software simulation. It is not a real person and should not be treated as a substitute for human relationships or professional services (medical, psychological, legal, etc.).
5. Content Policy
- All AI-generated content is fictional and for entertainment purposes
- You must not use the Service to generate content depicting minors in any context
- You must not use the Service for illegal activities
- We reserve the right to moderate and remove content that violates these Terms
6. Subscriptions and Payments
- Free accounts have usage limits as described on the Premium page
- Premium subscriptions are billed according to the selected plan
- Payments are processed by Stripe or Telegram Stars
- Refunds are subject to our refund policy and applicable consumer protection laws
- We reserve the right to change pricing with prior notice
7. Intellectual Property
The Emora platform, including its design, code, and AI models, is our intellectual property. AI-generated images created for your avatar are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use.
8. Account Termination
- You may delete your account at any time from Settings
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
- Upon account deletion, all personal data is permanently removed per our Privacy Policy
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. AI responses may be inaccurate, inappropriate, or unexpected.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Emora shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
